Supervision

Supervision is available for Psychologists and Allied Health clinicians interested in furthering their abilities in Neurodivergence-affirming assessment skills, report writing and clinical practice.

I am a Board Approved Supervisor. I am able to act as a secondary supervisor for registrar programs. I have capacity to act as a secondary supervisor for Psychologists completing 4+2 and 5+1 pathways. I do not have capacity at this time to act as primary supervisor for 4+2/5+1.

Interest Areas

  • Neurodiversity-affirming Autism and ADHD assessment across the lifespan.

  • Masked, camouflaged and internalised Autism/ADHD.

  • Complex and differential diagnosis.

  • Report writing using affirming language.

  • Neurodiversity-affirming clinical practice (especially with Autistic girls, women & non-binary folk).

  • Supporting Neurodivergent clinicians, particularly those working with Neurodivergent clients.

Report Writing

When working on report writing in supervision, my approach is to support and coach supervisees to practice affirming writing themselves and to then consult with me so I can assist, guide and edit. This approach means that the development of affirming thinking, conceptualising and writing happens via genuine learning and collaboration.

I do not share de-identified report samples or report templates. These are my intellectual property and have been developed through countless hours of my own work and reflection over the years. Thank you for understanding and respecting this boundary.

Group Supervision

Group supervision is offered on a variety of focused topics which change regularly. Groups are capped at 5 participants and run for 90 minutes. An hour is focused on content and half an hour is dedicated to discussion/Q&A.

Case Consultation

Case consultation groups are offered on an ad-hoc basis. These are for clinicians to bring cases they'd like to workshop in a group setting, or to join when wanting to listen and learn from collaborative discussion. Case consultations are capped at 5 participants and run for 120 minutes (2 hours). The time is divided equally along participants who are bringing cases to work on.

Fees

Individual supervision is offered at a standard rate of $220 per 1 hour session. Following from supervision of report writing skills, I offer review of reports. Fees for this are negotiable depending on your specific needs.

Group supervision on focused topics is offered at a standard rate of $120 per clinician, per session.

Case consultation groups are offered at $150 per clinician, per session.

How do I pay? â€‹Fees are processed securely online via debit/credit card. When completing information and consent forms online, you will be asked to enter your card details which are encrypted and stored securely in the booking system (Halaxy). Payment is then deducted from your card automatically at the time of session.

Conditions

I can only act as a secondary supervisor for Psychologists completing registrar/endorsement programs. I am currently an Educational and Developmental Psychologist Registrar and will be able to offer primary registrar supervision for this area of practice after holding endorsement for two years and gaining further Board Approval.

Booking/Appointment Terms:

  • You will receive an appointment reminder via email 3 business days prior to each appointment. You will also receive an SMS 3 days before the appointment requiring you to confirm or cancel. Please give at least 48 business hours (2 business day's) notice if you need to cancel your appointment (e.g. replying to the reminder email) so that the time can be offered to supervisees on the wait list.

  • Appointments that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or that are not attended, will be charged the session fee in full. This will need to be paid before further appointments are booked.

  • Accounts must be balanced before future supervision sessions can be confirmed.

  • Supervision invoices must be paid promptly by supervisees unless third-party payment (e.g. by a workplace) has been organised in advance and consented to in writing by the third-party and myself. This is to prevent invoices becoming overdue.
